Apple has disclosed the official dates of the iOS 17 release in its annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC). It will be released from June 5 to June 9. We all know Apple introduces a new iPhone every year, with a revision of Apple’s mobile operating system. But in 2023, we expect the release of the iPhone 15 series with iOS 17.
On June 5, the traditional first-day keynote will occur, and that’s when the next version of iOS, macOS, watchOS, iPadOS & TvOS will be released. For the first few weeks, the beta version of iOS 17 will be accessible to a limited number of users. As if the new versions contain errors or issues, these beta users help Apple get notified about unwanted issues so that the final version will be free from any issues.
Later the company will start releasing the iOS 17 for all users, and the new iPhone series 15 will run iOS 17 directly out of the box. Although, the final version of iOS 17 will start to roll out to all eligible iPhones. All iPhones which were launched before the iPhone series 8 will not be eligible to upgrade to iOS 17.
However, every year Apple releases a new version of iOS, and iOS 16 was already released last year for iPhones with some incredible features, including a customizable lock screen, Focus mode, live activities, Always-on-display, and much more.
However, it is expected that iOS 17 will bring several new features, including Next-Gen Carplay, an alternative App store, and AR/VR headset support.
But, iPhone users are still demanding a lot more new features that Android already had for years, including call recording, improved notifications, dual apps, split screen, RCS Support for iMessage, Background tasks, and much more. We hope the newest version will bring a lot of user-demanded features.
