Paranoid Android team made a great comeback last month with their Android 13-based “Topaz” Builds. Now, almost five weeks after the initial build of Topaz dropped, the paranoid android team has released the first version of their ROM for the Google Pixel 7 Series.
Initially, the custom ROM was available for a handful of phones before the official build roster extended to more devices from OnePlus and Xiaomi. Hence, as maintained by XDA senior member sirhc, Paranoid Android Topaz Beta 1 based on Android 13 is now available for Google Pixel 7 & the Pixel 7 pro.
Moreover, the developer notes state that there are no new errors, and the build even supports face unlock and a handful of pixel-exclusive features out of the box. Additionally, the developer has also released the second Topaz build for the Google Pixel series 6.
Although, XDA-Developers colleagues note that their paranoid builds have gained support for over-the-air updates. As owners will already be aware, all the google pixels 7 series have received their official Android 13 updates.
The nothing phone 1, the device paranoid android began Topaz development marketing efforts with, is now in its third alpha phase. Its manufacturer plans to let go of an official android 13 update sometime in the first half of 2023.
