Instagram is releasing a new feature for content creators to share videos globally. The Instagram creators now share trial reels with nonfollowers allowing the video reel to be shown to the people who don’t follow them.
Well, it seems like you are soft-releasing your videos but hiding them from your followers. However, this trail reels feature helps the content creators to experiment with new kinds of content and get an idea of whether the trial reel is likely to be a hit or not.
People who have early access to the Instagram trial reels feature said it was good for promoting Instagram profiles, reaching new accounts, being active in trends, and growing audiences beyond their niche. So you will see how a video executes without showing it to your whole Instagram audience.
If you want to create a trail reel:
- Take the usual steps to create an Instagram reel.
- Before sharing it turn on the Trial toggle.
Once you share the Instagram trial reels you will see it in your profile together with your Instagram drafts. If you ultimately decide that you want to show it to your followers, you can change it remove it from the trail mode, and set it to share with everyone. Moreover, if your video doing well then you can set it to auto-share.
NOTE: Only you can see that your reel is a trial and it will not be shown to others until you share with your followers.
