OpenAI Releases GPT 4o Mini: A Cheaper and Smarter Model

OpenAI Releases GPT 4o Mini

OpenAI releases GPT 4o Mini, a cheaper model for developers and more capable than GPT-3.5. The OpenAI company claims that this new version of Chatgpt beats leading AI models, including Gemini Flash, Claude Haiku, and GPT-3.5 Turbo, in many standards.

According to TheVerge, the leader of the OpenAI platform, Olivier Godement, states, “I think GPT-4o Mini really gets at the OpenAI mission of making AI more broadly accessible to people. If we want AI to benefit every corner of the world, every industry, and every application, we have to make AI much more affordable.

Open AI releases GPT 4o Mini on July 18, which you can use in place of GPT-3.5 Turbo on Free, Plus, and Team plans. However, enterprise users will get access to it next week. This model is a leader in textual intelligence and handling multiple forms of data, such as images, videos, and audio, which are planned for future integration.
