Threads new features are tested as a new option for users to choose their custom feed, for you, and follow as their default. This feature will allow them to build their feeds around the topics they are interested in.
These new advancements are open to all users just after some days when Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that the thread was testing new features. In his announcement post, he added that he is “interested to see how and if people use this.”
However, the Threads new features rollout raises lots of questions and indicates this as a way to keep up with the rapidly famous Bluesky platform that allows users to make their own feeds and to set their content as their preference. Not only this but many prominent figures and companies have announced their exit from Twitter X (a very well-known platform that is owned by Elon Musk) and joined Bluesky. While this platform seems to be gaining attraction around the globe and catching up with many daily users, it has made many competitors including Threads.
