The H2 chip was previously used in 2<sup>nd<\/sup> generation Airpods Pro. But the Airpods 2 and Airpods 3 feature the H1 chip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Apple Company state that the H2 chip offers an exceptional acoustic experience. After paired with a new low-distortion audio driver and custom amplifier in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechwork.com\/apples-latest-airpods-pro-reach-all-time-low-price-at-amazon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Airpods Pro<\/a>. Thus, these enhancements massively increase the sound quality and offer users an exceptional audio technology experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-modern-bluetooth-5-3-technology\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Modern_Bluetooth_53_Technology\"><\/span><strong>Modern Bluetooth 5.3 Technology<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The H2 chip is attended by the latest Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity in Airpods Pro, and many Apple products now feature Bluetooth 5.3. So we can expect Airpods 4 to get this upgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bluetooth 5.3 offers faster and more consistent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechwork.com\/airpod-range\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wireless range access<\/a> with Bluetooth accessories. And also empowers power efficiency that can contribute to longer battery life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-volume-controls\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Volume_Controls\"><\/span><strong>Volume Controls<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With the Airpods 4, it could probably gain touch-built volume controls like the Airpods Pro. Users have to put their thumb on the twig of the Airpod and use their directory finger to swipe up or down on the minor touch control spot to go the volume up or down. With this in mind, Apple could favor device volume controls as a high-end feature for the Airpods Pro and Apple Airpods Max.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-longer-battery-life-with-airpods-4\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Longer_Battery_Life_with_Airpods_4\"><\/span><strong>Longer Battery Life with Airpods 4<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Compared to the Apple Airpods Pro 2 and Airpods Pro 3 previous generations, and other Apple wearables, the H2 chip and bluetooth 5.3 tech offers an extra hour and a half of listening time with an<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechwork.com\/how-to-turn-on-noise-cancelling-on-airpods\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> active noise cancellation switch on<\/a>. It could translate to a battery life increase of 5 to six and a half hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-development-in-find-my-app\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Development_in_Find_My_App\"><\/span><strong>Development in Find My App<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The third-gen Airpods have Find My App integration that helps a user to guide their location only. While the AirPods Pro 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechwork.com\/how-to-find-airpod-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">case can be found using the find my app<\/a>, which Apple calls precision tracking. It was made probable due to the U1 chip inside them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the U1 chip also makes it to the Airpods 4. It lets the users check directions to where their Airpods are with the find my app using their iPhone or iPad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-more-charging-options\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"More_Charging_Options\"><\/span><strong>More Charging Options<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Airpods 3 can be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechwork.com\/how-to-charge-airpods-pro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">charged through MagSafe,<\/a> a Qi wireless charger, or a lightning cable. The 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Gen Airpods Pro can correspondingly be charged via the Apple Watch radio receiver charger. Meanwhile, the upcoming Airpods 4 will take features from the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Gen Airpods Pro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So it is expected to add compatibility with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechwork.com\/how-to-back-up-apple-watch-data\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apple Watch<\/a> charger. That will align the users with the EU forcing companies to adopt USB-C for their products since it is better than other alternatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-airpod-4-usb-c-port\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Airpod_4_USB-C_Port\"><\/span><strong>Airpod 4: USB-C Port<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When the Airpods 4 launches four iPhone models, the entire iPad and Mac lineups and the Airpods Pro will feature a USB-C port. According to reports, all Airpods models, Apple Home, and accessories will shift from lighting to USB-C by 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Distinct to 2<sup>nd<\/sup> gen Airpods, Pro Apple is not expected to launch a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechwork.com\/a-brief-guide-to-usb-c-charger-its-features\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">USB-C<\/a> MagSafe charging case for 3<sup>rd<\/sup> gen Airpods. So it seems almost certain that the 4<sup>th<\/sup> generation of Airpods will feature a USB C as a substitute for lightning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-speaker-in-the-charging-case\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Speaker_in_the_Charging_Case\"><\/span><strong>The Speaker in the Charging Case<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The available nonpro Airpods can play only sound via earphones, even when located with Find My. That becomes a bummer when the earphones are put inside the case while the sound gets muted. Instead, the Airpods Pro has speakers built into the charging Airpods case. It makes locating them relatively simple since the sound comes directly from the Airpods charging case, making it much louder and clearer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-airpods-4-price-amp-release-date\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Airpods_4_Price_Release_Date\"><\/span><strong>Airpods 4 Price &amp; Release Date<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No new Airpods models are projected to launch this year. There are no exact rumors about the release date of the fourth Generation Airpods. But the end of 2024 to sometime 2025 currently looks like the most probable time frame. But we can&#8217;t predict with much certainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the price point, Apple is preparing to launch a small-cost version of the Airpods for just $99 between the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> half of 2024 and the 1<sup>st<\/sup> half of 2025. By the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> half of 2024, the 3rd gen Airpods will be 3 years old.
