At the same time, a reel posted by a public Instagram account will be downloadable by default. But creators can switch it off if they want so that people do not copy their clips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> If you are downloading a Reel that has a licensed audio clip, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechwork.com\/how-to-download-instagram-content-videos-stories-reel-in-3-clicks\/\">download Instagram Reel video<\/a> will not have the auditory. Reels that have original audio will have the sound in the download clips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the steps to turn off the download option for publicly posted Instagram reels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Hover over to the Instagram<strong> settings<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap on the <strong>Privacy<\/strong> option from the pop-up options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After that, tap on the <strong>Reels and Remix<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now turn off the <strong>Allow people to download your Reels<\/strong> toggle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, a download Instagram reel will show with an Instagram logo and the creator&#8217;s username, like the one you see on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechwork.com\/what-is-tiktok\/\">TikTok<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is not a radical modification, but it will ease more engagement that helps to lift up exposure for Reels makers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-editor-s-recommendation\"><strong>Editor\u2019s Recommendation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechwork.com\/download-instagram-video\/\">How to Download Instagram Video?
