There’s something weird about seeing Party Animals ranked fifth on Steam’s most-wish-listed games list alongside Hogwarts Legacy, Starfield, and Hollow Knight: Silksong. The number of people waiting to play Party Animals is higher than those waiting to play high-ticket games like Ark 2. That’s incredible.
The cute and chaotic multiplayer beat them up Party Animals(opens in new tab) was a hit on Steam during a few weeks in 2020 when every single streamer on Twitch was playing the demo. That is why it made it to Steam’s wishlist ladder.
It was enough to make all those viewers excited for its release to see adorable, fluffy little animals beat each other with bricks and sticks, but the release didn’t come as soon as they expected.
Party Animals was originally scheduled for 2022 but has now been delayed until early 2023, but in the meantime, you can enjoy the trailer above, which shows off the furry fighters, their new outfits, and a wide variety of weapons.
A submarine, an icy wing of an airplane, and a subway station where Keanu Reeves battled a suit-wearing man are just a few of the arenas in which these creatures fight. Besides miniature black holes and football stadiums, trebuchets are a favorite weapon of gamers. Although we’ve waited a long time, Party Animals still looks like it’ll be a blast.
