Google has released Android 15 beta with new features but you cannot download the update right now as this is only available for Android Open-Source Project. Moreover, according to Google, “Android 15 will be available on supported Pixel devices in the coming weeks. As well as on select devices from Samsung, Honor, iQOO, Lenovo, Motorola, Nothing, OnePlus, Oppo, realme, Sharp, Sony, Tecno, Vivo, and Xiaomi in the coming months”.

Google has released Android 15 Beta with new features that include improved battery life, edge-to-edge display support by default, satellite messaging, and other useful features like:

Anti-Theft Protection

Google is adding a theft detection lock to the Android 15 update that will detect if the phone is snatched and automatically lock the screen. Also, it will auto-lock if it is off the grid for a long time or there are multiple failed authentication attempts.

AI in TalkBack

This will offer detailed image descriptions through Gemini.

Custom Vibrations

Users can now set vibrations for specific and personalized notifications.

Low Light Adjustment in Camera UI

Android 15 will give users extra control over the flashlight and offers better camera performance in low light.

Improved Multitasking on the Big Screens

It will allow users to pin the taskbar permanently on larger screens like tablets for the ease of multitasking.
