Amazon has a minority stake in Antrophic as it invested $4 billion in the company. Amazon’s customers will get early access to antrophic Claude AI, named remarkable AI. The Classic Alexa model will be free to use, and the new model will be at a $5 to $10 monthly subscription. The remarkable AI will be released in October and will have better performance, with improved AI and a chatbot for children.
Amazon uses different technologies for Alexa to compete with competitors like Google Gemini voice chat and OpenAI’s advanced ChatGPT voice mode. Amazon’s new AI-powered Alexa will use Antrophic’s Claude AI to give better performance than the company’s in-house model. Also, a demo of the new Alexa will be presented during Amazon’s annual event, typically held in September.
