The owner of X, Elon Musk released Grok 2 with an image-generating feature on X. The new AI bot can generate pictures of politicians and copyrighted brands. Grok 2 is only accessible on the X social network and is currently available for (X) Twitter Premium and Premium+ users.

The X blog post stated that Elon Musk released Grok 2, which is more powerful in terms of coding and generation than the previous Grok 1.5 version. It also stated that an early version of Grok-2 has been tested on the LMSYS leaderboard under the name ‘sus-column-r.’ Grok 2 is currently outperforming GPT-4-Turbo and Claude 3.5 Sonnet. Moreover, Grok 2 Mini is also released as a sibling of Grok 2.

Later this month, the company is also planning a new enterprise API to make both models available to developers.
